This site is quite fantastic!
I needed a help – have a new lenovo g430, 4152-c3q 3000 series notebook.
The original driver cd was of Vista, while I installed XP. Managed to find some audio drivers but I think I am missing a few, when I play with headphones on, the audio continues from the main speakers.
Pls help

sir this prob is due to compatibility mismatch . actually the system is supposed to work on window vista or win 7. on win xp there in certain mismatch. if u install window vista or 7 no such prob will ocur.

I have purchased a brnad new Lenovo G430 4152C3Q. I have tried to install xp with service pack2 to the system. I have received the following error with blue screen. Please help me to fix this issue.
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you’ve seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
check for viruses on your computer. remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. check your hard drive to make sure it it properly configured and terminated. run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.

even i faced the same problem. you will have change the status of SATA in your setup ( while the system is starting )

One of my friend has purchased Lenovo 3000 G430-4152C3Q Laptop yesterday. He has installed WIN XP with all the drivers except the Audio & Modem Driver.
We’ve tried with the driver Conexant High Definition SmartAudio 221 (7.06 MB) & Conexant Modem driver but we failed.
can anyone help me ??????

I am also looking for the audio drivers for Lenovo 3000 G430-4152C3Q. i installed WinXp on it Conexant High Definition audio drivers from lenevo web site but it does not work. Can somebody help?

i was facing the same problem on my lenovo g 430 wen i install windows xp,
it is running ,i tried a lot to manage its sound drivers…
but still sound was not comingout then i decid to windows vista ultimate
without intalling drivers sound was perfectly coming out an another problem occure web cam was not capturing means to say that capturing application was not going to be installed then i install a windows genuine xp from my friend laptop works very perfectly…

go to lenovo forum. after entering your model no. serial no. you are allowed to download drivers for g430 for windows xp. be careful to select further model details & install appropriate drivers. It runs well.

I am having problem with the driver. I have formated the laptop and installed by the win xp .The driver is not working properly and doesnot support the audio device and others so what are the formalities to do please help me soon waiting for your response

actually i had used internal mike with skype now it is not usable external mike is working
